Oh my... His an outing we did back on September 9th. It was a warm Saturday morning and Hannah and I took a group out to Ada Hayden, to see the Monarch Magic!!
We had some lessons on, Monarch Butterflies - the wonderful lifecycle of the monarchs.
Native Bees - the diversity of the bees, how to tell a male bee from a female bee and that male bees don't sting. Pollination -we experience the life as a bee as they visit flowers to get food and learn how pollination works.
Habitat - Used a map to look to increase habitat while learning about agriculture.
Pollinators - the role of pollinators and their importance for our food supply.
Dick, stopped and talked to every kid he saw, and young adults going fishing. As he said. " you always have to make new friend and put smiles on everyone's face!" this was a wonderful day!
