Please Join us and our Partners at Cedarhurst in Woodstock, IL for a Happy Hour Launch Party on May 15th, 2024 from 6pm-7pm! Our ongoing support group will be held every third Wednesday evening of the month, through 2024 and is open to the public.

Bickford Home Care hosted a Naughty and Nice Hot Cocoa Bar with live entertainment for the residents at a local senior community we serve. Thank you to Erica's niece, Lizzie, who played beautiful Christmas songs on her violin while residents sipped their Happy Hour favorites including Naughty Hot Chocolate infused with Baileys or Rum Chata. Bickford Home Care had an extraordinary time co-sponsoring a Magic Show at the Bickford Assisted Living Community in Crystal Lake! There were a lot of "Ohhhs" and "Ahhs" from the crowd. The magician tricked us many times and we laughed out loud together. It was certainly a "Magical" evening!

Kennedy, our Service Coordinator, started with Bickford Home Care in the Fall of 2022 as a brand new caregiver. Over a year ago, she and Joanne were matched and a friendship was formed. Now, Kennedy is more like family and Joanne gives her smiles no one else gets. Kennedy knows the exact Red color Joanne likes on her finger nails and just the right way to style her hair. Kennedy and Joanne's story proves what we preach here at Bickford Home Care: we strive to provide engagement and connection every time we are present with our clients.

Making sure our caregivers are fully trained is something we take very seriously here at Bickford Home Care. We provide FIVE in-person training classes to each caregiver: Basic Care, Personal Care, Dementia Care Part 1, Dementia Care Part 2 & Hospice Support. We continue our Care & Dementia Training annually to ensure each caregiver provides our clients with the respect and dignity they deserve.
