What a meaningful morning at Bickford of Canton! Our residents participated in Catholic Communion this morning, sharing a special time of faith, reflection, and fellowship. We are also celebrating Jean and her continued success on her Higher Path journey. With the support of Danielle from Fox Rehab, Jean is working hard every day to build her strength and walk more independently. When asked what motivates her to keep going, Jean shared these heartfelt words: “It's the love of my family that keeps me going and makes me want to walk more.” Jean's determination and positive spirit inspire all of us. We are so proud of the progress she is making and grateful for the encouragement she receives from her family and care team along the way. Everyone has been watching our caterpillars transform, step by step, into their beautiful butterfly form. Nature’s process never fails to amaze.

Bickford of Canton enjoyed a full, feel‑good day as our Helping Hands program brought AL and MB residents together, joined by volunteers from Evergrove Church for meaningful crafts. An afternoon ice cream outing added a sweet break, and we wrapped it all up with classic bingo fun.

Our Senior Fraud Prevention Presentation with the Canton Police Department has been canceled and will be rescheduled for a later date. The only concern I have is that she is keeping ( my mother in law (name removed)) is keeping left overs in the refrigerator for a few days . So when I go visit , I clean the refrigerator. I think that Bickford should also check the refrigerator when they clean the room, as it is not healthy to keep these left overs for many days .

My mom loves Bickford but the one thing that she does not like is how her showers are sometimes handled. She called today and was very upset because the attendant saw her naked and I assume was in the bathroom with her during her shower. Would it be allowed to have the attendant sit outside the bathroom while mom has her privacy? I know we need to prevent falls, but in the case of my mom, the main reason to give her help with her shower was so that she would not forget to take a shower.

(names removed) are top notch!!! The care staff is very friendly & responsive. The one area that needs some help is laundry. Sometimes it comes back not all the way dry. Also clothes are not folded and/or hung up neatly which bothers our loved one.

In general we are very pleased , staff is very nice and friendly. One area we would appreciate help would be in the cleaning of the refrigerator in the room, (name removed) is keeping left overs for several days and while we always through it away when we get there , we are concerned to when we do not stop there for a few days and she consumes something very old. Thanks for all that you do for our family .
