This Monday morning was a delightful blend of music and community spirit as our talented volunteer Ella played the piano and sang for our residents. Their faces lit up with joy as Ella performed favorites like "Linus & Lucy," "I Can't Help Falling in Love with You," "Here Comes the Sun," and "Georgia on My Mind." A special shoutout to Sherie and Marlise for their kindness in helping Ella with her music pages. The time was filled with dancing, humming, and shared smiles—truly a heartwarming start to the week. Ella, who will be heading off to college soon, visits us a few more mornings, and we’re so grateful for her beautiful music and cheerful spirit. Thank you, Ella, for making our Monday so special!

Today, as part of our activity's, we enjoyed decorating adorable ducklings. The residents were delighted in sharing creative ideas and lyrics to accompany their designs, exchanging papers to see each other's wonderful concepts. We have proudly displayed the decorated ducks in the living room for everyone to enjoy. Spending time today observing how the residents interact with their new ducklings has brought us much joy and laughter. We hope you are also enjoying them from home! It's duckling time! For the past 28 days, our wonderful Family member Meghan has been guiding our residents through the incredible journey of hatching, from eggs to adorable ducklings. Everyone has loved staying updated on all the cute progress, like when the humidity was a bit high during the heat warning. To make things even more fun, Meghan set up a live YouTube stream called "BoB Duckling Watch," so residents and friends can tune in and watch the adorable hatchlings in real-time on the big screen. Over the next few days, we’ve got exciting duckling-themed activities, crafts, and much more planned — all designed to deepen those special bonds with our feathered friends. Everyone’s having a fantastic time getting to know these charming ducklings!

Welcoming Marlise: A New Resident Thriving in Her New Home Transitions can be challenging, but every so often we meet a new resident who reminds us how beautifully a fresh start can unfold. Marlise, one of our newest community members, has settled in with a sense of ease and positivity that has quickly made her a familiar and uplifting presence throughout our assisted living home. From her first day, Marlise approached her new environment with openness and curiosity. She took her time getting to know the layout, greeting staff, and observing the rhythm of daily life here. It didn’t take long before she began forming connections—small conversations in the hallway, shared smiles during meals, and friendly exchanges that helped her feel right at home. What has truly stood out is Marlise’s enthusiasm for activities. She has embraced our programs wholeheartedly, showing up with genuine interest and a willingness to try new things. Whether it’s morning exercise, arts and crafts, music sessions, or social gatherings, Marlise participates with energy and joy. Her presence adds a spark to group events, and other residents have already commented on how refreshing it is to have someone so engaged and cheerful joining in. Marlise’s growing comfort is evident in the little moments—asking about upcoming activities, encouraging others to join her, and stopping by the activity room just to see what’s happening. She has begun forming meaningful friendships, sharing stories and laughter that brighten the atmosphere around her. The residents had such a good time at the Cracker Barrel! The Lunch Bunch gang really enjoys eating and shopping and laughing! The food is always good and the laughs on the bus are infectious!

A big thank you to Zusman Hospice for bringing in such beautiful flowers for our residents to arrange and they enjoyed it very much. They were so colorful and made the residents feel like summer is in full bloom!

Our residents had a great time bowling with Fox Therapy! It's fun and also great exercise!

We really enjoyed doing arts and crafts with the Montrose Elementary School summer program. They were a joy to work with and they were really interactive with our residents.
