Today at Bickford of Bloomington we celebrated our mother's with a Mother's Day Tea Party! As we gathered together to celebrate the joys of motherhood we munched on pulled pork sliders, along with an assortment of cookies and cupcakes. We were able to mingle amongst mothers and play a friendly game of Family Feud Motherhood Edition. What a way to end the week!

Wednesday is for Bingo here at Bickford of Bloomington! Today our voted Queen Janice helped call Bingo in her pretty Red Hat's attire, another one of Bickford's clubs that she is involved in. Janice loves to help around the community and we love it when she does.

We decided that we needed a little friendly competition around here at Bickford of Bloomington to get our blood pumping for the grandening season, so our Graden Club came up with one! We planted strawberries in our granden and put our names on them. The first person to grow their strawberry wins a prize!! Let the competition begin!!!

I'm happy to see that (name removed) is gone. And I'm not the only one. There is a much lighter feel with the residents and staff when you go into Bickford now. I want to thank (name removed) for helping out with some issues that (name removed) wouldn't get back to me on, prior to her departure.

From what I hear meds aren't dispensed at consistent times. Both my folks have been on antibiotics and I'm more sure they have received those doses consistently.

Bickford took amazing care of my mom. She really loved the community, loved her apartment and the staff is terrific.
