At Bickford of Aurora in both Assisted Living and Montessori Memory Care, we are focusing On having our Residents follow the higher path. This has been effective to reduce falls and reducing ER visits and Hospital stays. We have a primary care team who is involved with our Residents and doing home visits when needed. One of our residents brightened our day by completing a coloring page with a heartfelt message: “I am thankful for all of the kind people here.” This special piece was created during a fun activity led by another talented resident, making it a true celebration of creativity and community. Though it started as a blank page, her creativity and care turned it into a bright, joyful reminder of the warmth and kindness that fill our community every day. From the friendly smiles of staff to the supportive moments shared with fellow residents, it’s these everyday gestures that make our home so special. We are grateful for her beautiful reminder that kindness truly does make the world a brighter place—and we’re grateful for everyone who contributes to our caring community.

A huge thank you to Morgan Smith and the members of the Geneva High School Key Club who made beautiful hand drawn and special memory notes for all of our residents here at Bickford of Aurora Assisted Living and Montessori Memory Care. Morgan’s grandmother, Eileen, lived with us for many years before her passing. We are so grateful to Morgan and her Club for thinking of us!
