Handwashing is one of the most effective things you can do to protect yourself and others from getting sick. Our hands touch everything—phones, doorknobs, shopping carts—and germs spread fast without us even realizing it. Soap and water don’t just rinse germs away; they break them down and wash them off completely. Washing your hands for 20 seconds can help prevent colds, flu, stomach bugs, and other infections.

Excellent communication from staff regarding my mother's progression in cognitive decline and discussions for options to assist her. (name removed) is especially spectacular! I appreciate staff kindness and compassion. So grateful to have my mom, (name removed), at Bickford! We feel we picked the best spot for her and our family! Thank you so much for all you do! Bickford is a great homey location for elderly and memory care. Staff are gentle and caring and all levels of the administration stay involved with the residents.
