Some of our residents enjoyed a sweet outing to the library where they picked out books and flower seeds, followed by a stop at a local store to choose the perfect pots. Back at home, we spent time painting our pots, each one as unique and beautiful as the hands that created them. We kicked off April Fool’s Day with a sweet surprise… or should we say a “fooling” one. Our Bickford Bakers got busy making “brownies” for our caregivers and friends… except these were brown paper E’s! Safe to say, there were lots of laughs all around! We also had our runway-ready residents strutting their stuff in a hilarious fashion show that had everyone smiling from ear to ear. And some residents had fun with pictures. Our Welcome Committee, ran with a Montessori approach and helped make this day extra special. From greeting our new friends with smiles, to wearing their name badges with pride, our residents took the lead in creating a meaningful and heartfelt experience.
