Today, we had the honor of celebrating two very special residence, Glenn and Marty, and two dedicated Bickford , family members, Bill (maintenance)and James(cook), who served our country. We started the day with a delicious breakfast at Hy-Vee, where our veterans enjoyed a wonderful meal together. Later, Brenda from Sarah care hospice presented each of our veterans with her certificate and heart fell Veterans Day pinning. Bickford also gifted hats representing each veterans branch. They were also presented with a beautiful handmade Quilt of Valor from our local foundation. We topped off our day with ice cream sundae! A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this day so memorable for the brave men who sacrifice so much for our freedom. Election Day Fun at Bickford of Grand Island! Today, we got our residents engaged in voting on a different level! Some of our residents have already cast their early ballots, so we thought we’d keep the voting spirit going all day with a fun activity vote!
