We took a ride out into the community to deliver homemade birthday cards for a special lady celebrating her 100th birthday, because everyone deserves to feel celebrated! We also explored a new spot in the neighborhood and treated ourselves to some delicious sourdough chocolate chip cookies! Back at home, residents enjoyed games, shared some laughs, and got creative making beautiful centerpieces for tonight's Soup Supper. BOO Boulevard was a BOO-last! From trick-or-treating through the halls to spooky games, sweet treats, creative costumes… Bickford was filled with Halloween magic! Our very own little Bickford Pumpkin Patch was open for business today! Our residents picked their perfect pumpkins, rolled up their sleeves, and turned little pumpkins into one of a kind masterpieces! No two pumpkins alike, because creativity has no age limit! A DAY OF FISHING & MAKING MEMORIES! What a beautiful day to be outdoors! Our Maintenance Man took a couple of our residents fishing, and one of our residents even REELED IN A FISH! From baiting the hooks and getting their poles ready to casting their lines and helping get the fish off the hook, our residents were hands-on every step of the way.
