Happy Friday from Bickford of Worthington Assisted Living! Our residents had a wonderful time enjoying the beautiful O-H-I-O weather out on our lovely porch, topped off with delicious ice cream sundaes. There’s nothing better than sweet treats and sunshine to brighten the day!!

The Bake Club at Bickford of Worthington Memory Care was bustling in the bistro as members combined ingredients and shared laughter while preparing a batch of delicious, chocolatey brownies. The sweet aroma filled the room, and so did the smiles. Yummy!!

Bickford of Worthington Memory Care made a special trip to the assisted living building to enjoy a movie in their theater room. This was no ordinary film; it featured our very own resident, Ken, as one of the actors! Everyone was excited to see Ken on the big screen, and the experience was filled with laughter, pride, and applause.

Today is Chocolate Chip Day!! At Bickford of Worthington Assisted Living, we celebrated this sweet occasion with a fun-filled afternoon of bingo and delicious chocolate chip cookies. The Residents enjoyed the friendly competition and the warm, homemade treats!!

At Bickford of Worthington Memory Care, residents and BFM's collaborated to create personalized name badges and door signs. This enjoyable craft activity became a meaningful way for everyone to recognize one another and helped residents locate their rooms more easily. The project was thoughtful and engaging, fostering connection, creativity, and a stronger sense of community.

Happy Mother’s Day from Bickford of Worthington Assisted Living!! We celebrated with a beautiful tea party for our beloved residents and their families. It was a wonderful afternoon filled with delicious treats, a variety of teas, and lovely decorations that made our space shine. A special thank you to Doug for filling the air with beautiful accordion music. And most of all, thank you to our amazing mothers you make every day brighter!!!

We recently hosted a beautiful Mother's Day celebration where families gathered to honor the amazing mothers in Mary B's. Loved ones joined our residents for a joyful afternoon filled with laughter, connection, and creativity. Everyone participated in a lively game of Mother's Day Bingo, followed by a special mug-decorating activity, where each mug was designed with love and appreciation. The celebration continued with delicious treats, champagne, and heartfelt moments that reminded us of just how special our mothers are. A big thank you to all the BFMs who helped make this event a happy and memorable one for our residents and their families.

At Bickford of Worthington Assisted Living, our residents are enjoying the cheerful sounds of our Ukulele Group!! With classic favorites like “You Are My Sunshine” and “Imagine,” the music brings joy, nostalgia, and a wonderful sense of community to everyone involved. A heartfelt thank you to the group for coming and sharing your beautiful music with us!!

St. Michael Church recently visited Bickford of Worthington Assisted Living to celebrate Mass with our residents!! It was a deeply emotional and meaningful experience as everyone came together in prayer, especially for the newly elected Pope. We are incredibly grateful to the Worthington community and St. Michael Church for their heartfelt service and spiritual support.
