To celebrate International Drop a Rock Day, our residents enjoyed expressing their creativity by painting colorful rocks with fun designs, cheerful pictures, and uplifting messages. Once their masterpieces were completed, they "dropped" them around the community for others to find and enjoy. At Bickford of Worthington Memory Care, families gathered for a special cookout honoring the wonderful fathers, grandfathers, and father figures in our community. Yeehaw! Our residents and staff had a rootin'-tootin' good time celebrating our annual Western Day! Everyone dressed in their western best, showing off cowboy hats, bandanas, and plaid shirts, while enjoying a variety of western-themed festivities. It was wonderful to see everyone come together and make lasting memories while embracing their inner cowboy and cowgirl. To make the day even sweeter, we topped off the afternoon with a delicious glass of iced tea in honor of National Iced Tea Day. A special thanks to our BFM, Aretha, for preparing the refreshing tea that everyone enjoyed. It was the perfect way to cool down, relax, and enjoy each other's company after a fun-filled day on the wild frontier.
