His care at Bickford is great! Staff is great! The facility is not clean . This is an ongoing problem and seems would not be difficult to resolve. Hire a professional cleaning company to come in to vacuum the front and halls at least daily , clean the resident bathrooms and vacuum the apartments 1-2 times a week , wipe down / disinfect the doors , etc. Do not have the CNAs, and other staff do the cleaning. Let them take care of the residents. This is a nice facility with paying customers ! Why can it not be clean????? Happy New Year!

I have recently shared with incoming Executive Director, (name removed) (great choice, by The way!), that the facility needs a good deep cleaning. And frankly perhaps just more frequent cleaning. Also need a way for resident's caregivers to easily communicate with staff involved in their care. Emails or texts are fine, but there is currently not a structured plan in place. Bit too ad hoc for my taste. I would prefer some sort of shared communal document per resident that keeps everyone more on the same page.
