✨ 2 cups Tang Drink Mix 
✨ 1 cup Instant Tea Mix ✨ 1 cup Lemonade Mix
 ✨ 1 cup Sugar 
✨ 1 tsp Cinnamon 
✨ ½ tsp Ground Cloves Mix all ingredients and store in an airtight container.

In our Memory Care community, we’re always looking for creative ways to bring joy, movement, and meaningful engagement to our residents. One of our most talked-about activities recently was our indoor Deer Hunt—a playful, lighthearted event that brought smiles, laughter, and lots of excitement to the day. Residents used Nerf-style foam blasters to take aim at inflatable deer, while staff joined in on the fun, dressed in costume to add to the playful atmosphere. Deer hunting at an Assisted Living community may look a little different than traditional hunting—but at Bickford of Portage, the fun, laughter, and excitement were very real. This creative indoor activity brought the spirit of hunting season to residents who can no longer head outdoors, turning imagination into a joyful and meaningful experience. Our community transformed a common space into an indoor “forest,” complete with decorated Christmas trees and seasonal décor. Residents participated using Nerf guns with soft-tipped darts, while staff members dressed as deer brought the scene to life. Laughter filled the room as residents cheered, aimed, and celebrated each successful “hunt.” Moments like these reflect what life at Bickford of Portage is all about—honoring personal passions, sparking engagement, and creating meaningful memories.
