This year, for Mardi Gras, we decided to bring the vibrant energy of New Orleans right to our tables with a Mardi Gras-themed lunch, delicious paczki, and an unforgettable armchair travel experience to Louisiana.

Engaging the Senses: The Chocolate Tasting Experience The event started with a brief introduction to the art of chocolate tasting. Many of our residents had memories of enjoying chocolate in various forms, but few had ever considered the intricate flavors that chocolate can offer. As we walked them through the process of tasting—first observing the chocolate’s appearance, then smelling its aroma, and finally savoring its flavors—they became engaged in a way we hadn’t anticipated.
