There was no script, no spotlight, just Hannah, one of our amazing caregivers, walking hand-in-hand with Adele, a resident at Bickford of Midland. Adele didn’t need help walking. She didn’t ask for someone to hold her hand or guide her home. But Hannah reached out anyways, because that’s what love looks like here.
This quiet moment, captured, without Hannah even realizing, is a glimpse into what makes Bickford different. It’s in the little things, the unspoken care. The simple, human gestures that say: you matter. We believe senior living should be more than care, it should feel like family. And family means showing up in both big and small ways, especially when no one‘s watching.
At Bickford of Midland, our team leads with their hearts. Whether it’s a shared laugh over morning, coffee, a hand to steady the walk home, or a kind word whispered when someone needs it most—these are the moments that define us. Come see the difference compassion makes. Come see the quiet, beautiful moments of real care.

Life at Bickford isn’t just full of laughter, friendship, and family – it’s also full of fur, wagging tails and happy paws! We are talking about our Bickford buddies. The beloved pets that live right alongside their humans in our communities. These four-legged residents bring comfort, companionship, and a whole lot of personality to our halls. Take Katie and Cooper, for example – two adorable dogs who have proudly claimed our courtyard as their personal bird chasing playground. When they’re not on patrol for feathered visitors, you’ll find them being showered with treats, snuggles, and maybe just a little TOO much attention from our staff (not that they’re complaining!) At Bickford, we know pets are family, and we are proud to welcome them with open arms. Our team doesn’t just care for residents, we love their furry companions too. Because here, home means love, and sometimes, love has paws. #BickfordOfMidland #BickfordBuddies #Assisted-living #MontessoriForMemoryCare

#NationalCucumberDay We took advantage of the National holiday for cucumbers. A cucumber aids in hydration, is a great source of fiber, and has an array of vitamins and minerals.

AnnaBelle turned 101 this year. It was a day a lot of our residents will remember because let's face it who knows that many 101 year olds. Annabelle looks good for 101 and is still going strong, we are making plans for the next monumental birthday in the books.

Beer & Brats with Dad was a success. Transitions Homecare grilled seven different flavors of brats and we supplied the Budweiser zero beer. What a splendid time was had by all of our Dad's at Bickford of Midland.
