Hello from all of us at Bickford of Ames! We hope you had a fantastic weekend filled with rest, laughter, and maybe a little sunshine. We definitely had a great one here in our branch of the Bickford Family! Our residents stayed busy enjoying activities, sharing stories, and soaking up the good company that makes this place feel like home. And yes — we survived Monday scares! Can’t believe tomorrow we will already be half way through the week. We’re meeting this week with big smiles, coffee, fresh manicures and can-do attitudes :)

Bickford Family Focus: We are so thankful for our BFM, Brenna and the love and dedication she has given our residents and families as a caregiver and medication technician for the last two years. Brenna brings compassion and heart to her role every single day. She says her favorite part of the job is “seeing the residents smile, being able to help them, and building personal bonds with each of them.” She also values the strong sense of work family among her coworkers, which makes each day even more meaningful. What motivates Brenna most? “Seeing residents reach the goals they’ve worked so hard for.” Her dedication to their progress and well-being inspires all of us. If she could have any superpower, Brenna says she’d love to go back in time—to stop bad things from happening and to relive the happy moments again. That just shows the kind of caring, thoughtful person she truly is. Thank you, Brenna, for two incredible years of love, care, and commitment. We’re so lucky to have you in our Bickford family!
