Watch your loved one thrive in an environment that feels like home
Navigating the aging journey is difficult.
We understand what’s at stake here: it’s not just someone, it’s your loved one.
Meanwhile, it’s on you to make the difficult decisions.
There's a Higher Path for our seniors
Senior care today is reactive, expensive, and siloed. It’s a sick-care system, not a health-care system (designed to keep seniors healthy). Most of us have accepted this status quo because it feels too big and complex to change. Not us. We’re taking the road less traveled and championing a higher standard of senior care.

Bickford has been offering some more community activities, activities in the facility and options to go out to eat occasionally. That means a lot to my sister (name removed) to get involved other than just day to day living. The dining room offers a great menu! Staff are attentive and friendly!!

The work load has increased with increase of required care for some residents The staff are all great but may eventually burnout with the burden of care.

I am extremely happy with everyone I met while recently spending time with Bickford staff. Everyone is very kind and supportive of my brother's needs. They are all true professionals. It was a pleasure to meet (name removed) in person and they are all extremely helpful with my brother's care. I would recommend Bickford to anyone looking for an assisted living facility. They are top notch.

I am impressed with the high quality of the nursing aids at Bickford and the retention rate of the excellent aids. The positive attitude, pleasant manner, generously helpful spirit, and skillful ministrations of the aids that I witness on my frequent visits make me very grateful, every time I visit, that my mother resides at Bickford of Worthington. It is clear that the personal qualities of temperament and helpfulness the aids bring to their work at Bickford has been enhanced by good training and supervision. I appreciate the cheery, homey atmosphere, beginning with the decorated entryway that is always so inviting. I am thankful for the seasonal decorations, activities, and festivities that bring enjoyment and benefit of a lively environment for the residents. The online reportage of various events on Facebook gives us a window onto the world of our family members. I want to extend praise to the new Director of Nursing. She has a demanding job with many moving parts but stays abreast of everything and has communicated well with me -- in a timely, informative, and reassuring manner -- about any medical concerns or issues that have arisen.

The facility is wonderful and the vast majority of the staff shows care and concern for residents. We've had ongoing unpleasant interaction with a staff member which was addressed by management and we are optimistic for a change. More intentional programs/activities on weekends seem to be needed to maintain a routine for residents and keep them engaged/busy. The break from routine can be hard on residents, and nighttime medication and bedtimes that creep back to as early as 6PM on many Sundays can be disruptive.

My father seems well cared for thus far. His room is typically clean and he looks presentable when I come to see him. Staff has been responsive when I have reached out to them. (name removed) has been very helpful in coordinating his care and assisting with his adjustment to a new environment. (name removed) at the front desk has also been very friendly and attentive. All of the aides and nurses I have interacted with have also been very kind and patient. I do wish I received more frequent updates about his daily activities. Overall our experience has been positive thus far and my father is responding to the change as well as I can hope he would.
