Halloween Trick-or-Treating! Join us on Friday, October 30th, starting at 5:30 PM for some Halloween fun! Bring your little ghosts and goblins in their favorite costumes and join us for trick-or-treating. Our residents would absolutely love to see all of the kids dressed up and are excited to hand out some treats! We hope to see lots of smiling faces, spooky costumes, and happy trick-or-treaters! Meet the Leadership Team was a wonderful success! On Wednesday, we had the pleasure of hosting our Meet the Leadership Team event, and we were so grateful for the wonderful turnout! It was a beautiful afternoon filled with tours, conversations, and meaningful connections. A special thank-you to everyone who came out to meet us and spend some time with our team. And of course, a big thank-you to Byron for sharing his beautiful piano playing! Our very own Paulette and Rita joined Byron to entertain us with their singing, adding an extra special touch to the afternoon. Cooking Corner was a sweet success! Yesterday, our residents had a wonderful time in Cooking Corner, where they got to make delicious cinnamon rolls from scratch! The kitchen was filled with smiles, teamwork, and the warm, sweet smell of cinnamon. But, of course, the best part of the activity was taste testing! Everyone enjoyed getting to sample their creations, and the cinnamon rolls were definitely a hit! Nothing beats a little cooking, a lot of fun, and enjoying the delicious results together!

Yesterday during lunch, DJ mentioned to the BFM team that she would enjoy having a glass of wine. When Mandy, our MEC, heard about DJ’s request, she was happy to help make it happen. DJ was delighted to enjoy her special request and had a wonderful time with her drink! It was a simple moment that brought a little extra enjoyment to her day.

Around the World with Our Residents! Our residents have decided to take an exciting journey around the world, visiting a different country each month! Last month, we explored Italy, and this month, our destination was Ireland! The residents had a wonderful time learning about Ireland, discovering its culture and traditions, and enjoying the sights along the way. After completing our Irish adventure, the residents have already chosen our next destination… Argentina! We can’t wait to see where our journey takes us next! Stay tuned for more fun, learning, and adventures as we continue traveling the world together!

Witch Hat Ring Toss Fun! Yesterday, our residents had a spooktacular time trying out a new game—Witch Hat Ring Toss! ????️ The goal was simple: toss the rings and try to get them onto the cones. Everyone had a lot of fun cheering each other on and giving it their best shot! Then Betty challenged our MEC, Mandy, to take the game to the next level—by putting the cone on her head! And of course, Mandy was up for the challenge! Betty had a blast trying to toss the rings onto the cone on Mandy’s head. After that, each resident got a chance to take their turn tossing the rings. There were lots of smiles, laughs, and good times all around! We love finding new and creative ways to keep our residents active, engaged, and having fun!
