Black Pearls play a crucial role in holding the culture of our Branches together. Like a black pearl that you find in the ocean these BFM's are rare and precious. They play a big role in demonstrating what a BFM who is doing "Whatever it Takes" looks like in action. We would like to congratulate Molly our 1st shift Med Tech and AnnMarie our housekeeper for becoming our Black Pearls. We are so lucky to have you in our branch. Our residents had a blast playing Cup Knock Down! Two residents faced off at a time, taking turns throwing balls to knock down as many solo cups as they could. There was lots of friendly competition, laughter, and cheering throughout the game. When the final cups had fallen, Loretta came out on top by knocking down the most cups. Congratulations, Loretta, on your well-deserved victory! Great job to everyone who participated and made the game so much fun!

There's just something about a hot summer day that calls for ice cream! Whether you're enjoying it indoors or outside in the sunshine, it's the perfect way to cool off. Our residents had a wonderful time celebrating National Ice Cream Month by creating delicious ice cream sundaes and spending time socializing with friends. There were plenty of smiles, sweet treats, and great conversations, making it a truly enjoyable afternoon!

Yesterday we celebrated National Chicken Wing Day with our own Wigs & Wings party! Our staff had a blast wearing fun wigs while our residents enjoyed delicious chicken wings with a variety of tasty sauces. There were lots of laughs, smiles, and great memories made throughout the day. Thank you to everyone who helped make our Wigs & Wings celebration such a fun and memorable event!

Weekly Bowling Fun! Our tenants get a blast out of our weekly bowling outings, and the friendly competition keeps everyone smiling! Last week, Jim was our lucky Strike Champ. This week, for the first time since we started our weekly bowling, a lady has claimed the title! Congratulations, Shirley, on becoming this week's Strike Champ! When Jim found out Shirley won, he laughed and said, "I'll have to take it back from you next week!" Without missing a beat, Shirley replied, "How about we make a plan—you win one week, and the following week you let me win?" Moments like these remind us that it's not just about the bowling—it's about the laughter, friendships, and fun we share together. We can't wait to see who takes home the title next week!

Pie in the Face Fundraiser Success! Earlier this month, we kicked off our "Pie in the Face" fundraiser, where management team members each had a donation jar with their name on it. Staff and visitors were invited to donate to the manager they most wanted to see receive a pie in the face—all for a great cause! Every dollar raised will go toward making Christmas extra special for our residents this year. After all the votes (and donations) were counted, our lucky winner was our fearless Maintenance Manager, Bill! A huge thank you to Bill for being such a great sport and taking one for the team. Your willingness to participate helped make this fundraiser a fun and successful event for everyone involved.
