Every day this week our residents are creating a different handmade ornaments to decorate our community tree, and today’s teamwork was extra special. Mary Alice popped in first thing this morning, like she does every day, to see how she could help. I was sorting donations for Mary B’s and stringing ornaments from yesterday, and she jumped right in! As we were working, Charlotte walked by, saw Mary Alice hard at work, and asked if she could join in. Of course, Mary Alice was happy to have a helper. After everything was strung and ready, our ladies proudly hung all the ornaments on our tree together.

Our residents enjoyed a special outing today to visit our former resident and old friend, Coach Howard, who moved to a new community. As part of our Montessori philosophy, our residents choose where we go on our outings — and this week, Gail suggested we go see Coach.
