Happy Valentine's Day from Bickford of Okemos! We celebrated with an Evlis Pressley concert and tasty chocolate fir dipping! We packed the house with residents and family members.

Bickford of Okemos Olympics today included three minute to win it games lead by Fox Therapy's Claire. Olympians played who can empty the tissue box the quickest with Betty coming up on top and winning a coveted Hershey bar. The second game was who can balance the most marshmallows on a card being held in their mouth with Peggy M loading her card with 34 marshmallows for a narrow win over Paul with 30. The finally required unstacking and restacking a pyramid of cups with a balanced marshmallow on top without the marshmallow falling off. Sue and Paul tied for the chocolate bar. In the end all were awarded a Hersheys bar .

Luge at the Bickford of Okemos Olympics this morning! We used a HotWheels track to symbolize the ice track and a car for the sled. We had a lot of laughs trying to not injure the driver as our 'sled' landed upside down or flew off the track.

Bickford Olympics has begun. Bickford of Okemos played its first floor hockey game this morning with the pink team winning 3 to 1. This high energy game took place in lieu of normal exercise.

Bickford of Okemos is getting ready for Valentine's Day. Our crafters are busy making 'I Love You to Pieces" heart shaped decorations for their doors.

Bickford if Okemos made memory books this afternoon. Resident Karen shared her passion for scrapbooking assisting friends in making their own memory books. Karen shared how seeing pictures help bring back memories of that day. Today we were working on a Christmas memories from last month.

Bickford of Okemos enjoys music Mondays! This afternoon we sang hymns and this evening we are graced with a piano concert. What a wonderful way to start the week.
