Here at Bickford of Okemos, there are exciting things happening! We are hosting our 1st Annual Fall Door Decorating Contest! We're inviting families to join us in helping their loved ones decorate their apartment doors and make our community festive for the season. The judging will take place on 10/7! We're also collecting Halloween candy donations as we prepare to welcome local schools for a special Halloween parade! Our goal is to make sure every child leaves with a sweet treat and a smile! This week, our Activities Director introduced a brand-new challenge that was a huge hit. Residents started by reassembling color-by-number pages that had been cut into puzzle pieces, then glued them onto construction paper before bringing their masterpieces to life with color. The activity combined problem-solving, creativity, and a sense of accomplishment all in one!
