Mother’s Day should be filled of pampering, smiles, reminiscing and sweet surprises! That is exactly what our lovely ladies received! They enjoyed an afternoon of relaxation and refreshing complete with goodie baskets made just for them. From laughter to a little extra sparkle, it was the perfect way to celebrate the amazing mothers and mother figures who mean so much to us! Happy Mother’s Day to all of the mommas out there!

Bright colors and full hearts! Our residents love keeping our art wall as vibrant as their spirits—and this week, we are celebrating Mother’s Day with beautiful heartfelt creations! Stronger together! Our amazing volunteer, JoEllyn, brings the energy every Tuesday and Thursday! She encourages the residents to be independent whilst also providing a helping hand! Our residents keep moving, smiling and feeling their best because of her great routine! We are so grateful for her positivity and dedication—it’s a highlight of our week! We also enjoyed a yummy refreshment after lunch for our weekly mocktail!

Stopping to smell the roses—literally!! Our residents had a blooming good time arranging fresh flowers, creating beautiful bouquets and even sweeter memories. Nothing brightens a day quite like a little creativity and a lot of color! Soon we will be using flowers from our own garden for these arrangements and we are so excited!!

We celebrated our April (plus one March) birthdays the best way we know how—with a pizza party!! Residents gathered together to enjoy delicious slices, sweet treats and refreshing pink lemonade along with lots of smiles and laughter! We love celebrating and honoring our wonderful friends! Happy birthday to all of our April stars!!

Our residents had a wonderful time exploring the world without leaving home! They enjoyed tasting all sorts of snacks and drinks! We also updated our coloring page board with new spring themed pictures which our in house artists did so well with! Lastly, our residents started painting their very own door signs! This week has been full of laughter, fun and amazing memories!!

Blooming smiles and beautiful creations! Our residents had a wonderful time showing off their creativity during their “Fun with Flowers” activity this week! From picking the perfect blooms to designing stunning bouquets, every arrangement was made with joy and love! Activities like this brighten our home and our hearts!

Nothing brightens our days quite like visits from our furry friends! From wagging tails to slobbery kisses, these special moments bring smiles, comfort, and so much joy to our residents. We always look forward to our next cuddle-filled visit!

We wrapped up our Ocean-Themed Week with a splash! Residents enjoyed delicious cupcakes and got creative with ocean friend coloring pages—finishing the week with smiles, laughter, and a sea of fun memories.
