Such a busy and fun-filled day here at Bickford! We started the morning with some meaningful one-on-one visits, followed by a round of “What Did It Cost?” trivia, comparing prices from 1960 to today. It sparked some great memories and conversations! We wrapped up the day with a community favorite… Drum Circle! Our very own Bread Basket Manager, Chris, even stepped out to jam with us and lead a song. It was the perfect way to end the day with music, laughter, and lots of smiles!

Another fun-filled day here at Bickford! We started the day with a great fitness class with Nathan, getting everyone up, moving, and energized. After working those muscles, we put our minds to work with a lively game of Hangman, full of laughs and teamwork. Of course, we wrapped up the day with a community favorite… BINGO! Our residents always bring the excitement, and today was no exception. Staying active, social, and having fun together is what it’s all about!

Donation Request — Calling All Button Collectors! Bickford of Davenport is excited to host our first-ever Button Auction, and we need your help! We are currently seeking donations of buttons of all kinds — colorful, vintage, unique, large, small, or decorative — to help make this fun resident event a success. These buttons will be used for a special auction activity that encourages engagement, creativity, and lots of smiles. If you have extra buttons you’d like to donate, please drop them off at Bickford of Davenport. You can also call or text Christina at (563) 742-1556 and she will pick up if needed. It’s Monday here at Bickford of Davenport, and that means we started the week by helping with chores! Our residents jumped right in to lend a hand — vacuuming, assisting dietary, organizing resident mailboxes, dusting, and taking care of many other tasks around the community.
