Today I’m feeling incredibly grateful and inspired. We are seeing so many of our residents rise to a higher path, and the transformations have been truly amazing. I’m so proud of what our team at Bickford continues to do for our residents every single day. And a special shoutout to Fox Therapy for partnering with us and helping make these incredible milestones possible. This is why we do what we do.

Our community experienced another day of engaging activities. Residents from both MB and AL were actively occupied. Every Monday, Chaplain Leigh Ann leads a Bible study session, which provides a platform for residents and family members to share their thoughts and inspirations. Meanwhile, some residents in MB participated in baking oatmeal cookies under the guidance of activity leaders from AL. While waiting, they socialized and played games in the courtyard, taking advantage of the pleasant weather. Concurrently, other residents in AL engaged in puzzle-solving and bingo games. Our community remains actively engaged in various activities designed to keep residents occupied. We provide socialization and other daily routine activities. As we integrate the Montessori program, we emphasize abilities and strengths over limitations, ensuring residents are treated with dignity. We offer meaningful activities tailored to individual interests and skills, spanning from simple sensory tasks to complex chores. Residents are encouraged to take ownership of their daily schedules and choose activities that suit their preferences. As part of our program, particularly effective in memory care, our Support for Dementia initiative provides structure, routine, and repetition to alleviate confusion and enhance cognitive function.
