Our AL and MB residents participated in a bus tour this afternoon to take in the scenic views around town. They also had the opportunity to stop by Tom’s farm market for donuts. It was heartwarming to see their faces light up with beautiful smiles as they took in the diverse colors of the leaves while eating donut as well. Both AL and MB participated enthusiastically in the baking and cooking club. Over the past few days, they decorated their own cookies, which proved to be extremely popular, as some residents consumed them immediately, while others were delighted to see the finished product of their efforts. Today, they prepared chili soup, perfectly suited for the cold weather, and everyone waited patiently to be served. This was followed by a Fall Charades game, where the smiles and laughter were truly priceless.

Our residents had the opportunity to dine out for lunch at Jameson’s in Huntley. They were excited to experience diverse cuisine at the other venue. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their ordered meals.
