Watch your loved one thrive in an environment that feels like home
Navigating the aging journey is difficult.
We understand what’s at stake here: it’s not just someone, it’s your loved one.
Meanwhile, it’s on you to make the difficult decisions.
There's a Higher Path for our seniors
Senior care today is reactive, expensive, and siloed. It’s a sick-care system, not a health-care system (designed to keep seniors healthy). Most of us have accepted this status quo because it feels too big and complex to change. Not us. We’re taking the road less traveled and championing a higher standard of senior care.

Recently, I have noticed that the BFM's do not appear to be working as well together as they used to. I know they are all working long hours. But, if they worked as team it should be easier for all of them. Also, I noticed that there was a resident that had PPE equipment outside of their room BUT... the protocol was not being followed. The door to the room should have stayed closed and that did not always happen. The resident was at the door and many residents were at the door visiting. The staff was going in and out of the room NO PPE on. I actually confronted one of the staff and asked why she was entering the room without the proper covering on. I was told I only went to ask the resident something. I did not touch anything. Still. If the person has an infection it does not matter if anything is touched or not!! I feel that the staff needs to be reeducated before there is an outbreak of infection in the facility. The carpets are still filthy. Was told it would be taken care of but still has not been addressed.

I would like to thank all of the staff this past month. My mom tripped and had a fall. The whole Bickford staff has been so helpful helping her rehab! She is using her walker, coming to her meals in the dining room and still plays her Bingo. When she pushes her button, the staff responds very quickly! Thank you so much for being there for my mama!! ❤️

Would it be okay for me to bring cupcakes for everyone on Mom's birthday, August 22?
