Wait, did we just become cosmetologists?? Our ladies had a blast learning how to make their very own lip gloss! From choosing colors and scents to mixing everything together, everyone enjoyed tapping into their creative side and sharing lots of laughs along the way. We had an amazing morning with the Franklin Mustang Crew, enjoying coffee, donuts, and plenty of chrome and horsepower. Our residents loved spending time outdoors, admiring the beautiful cars and sharing stories about the vehicles they owned and the memories they made behind the wheel. Day 5 of CNA Spirit Week: Hawaiian Day! We wrapped up CNA Spirit Week at Bickford of Suffolk with a tropical celebration full of bright colors and island vibes! Our amazing BFMs brought the sunshine indoors and reminded us that caring for others is all about sharing joy, kindness, and a little fun along the way. As we celebrated this week, we also took time to recognize Juneteenth, a day that honors freedom, resilience, and the ongoing journey toward equality. It was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the importance of community, culture, and coming together in celebration. Day 4 of CNA Spirit Week: Sports Day! Of course, our favorite team at Bickford of Suffolk is the Pittsburgh Steelers! Dressed proudly in their black and yellow, Nadia and our very own Steeler Steve had a great time tossing around the football and sharing memories of touchdown dances and teammates from years gone by. Moments like these remind us that sports have a special way of bringing people together and sparking treasured memories.
