Bickford is a clean and beautiful place. Everyone there has been so kind and welcoming to my father. The staff has always answered all of my questions and when my Dad needs their assistance they are there in a snap. My Dad is happy and has excellent care from the entire staff at Bickford.

The price of living isn't bad until you add in costs of level of care. Then it doubles very quickly! Wish it was more affordable

Normally the aids are a 5. Over the part 2 weeks, 2 issues with first shift. (I'm Normally here 2nd shift into 3rd) 2 weeks ago, twice Dad had urine wet laundry put in his basket on Sunday then Tuesday. A second shift aid addressed that. Now today 2/2, I showed up and food was on his apt floor. When I saw Dad, he had pooped his pants likely due to a new med. I told second shift I saw a more running stool. They would put in August Health and let 1st know as I talked to 3rd shift med aid. I found Dad in the dining room when I arrived. I'm grateful 1st shift cleaned him up and pants in laundry. 2nd shift knew nothing of what happened to Dad. They're better, but need to communicate to other shifts. Thanks to all the aids and their efforts.

The aids are the reason for the rating. I rarely give a 1 or a 5 as there is always room to improve or a 1 means the place in general has many serious issues. The aids stepped up in November when the alarm system was down all weekend. Extras aids watched the doors to keep residents in and question visitors entering. Corporate management needs to address this gap so service can be done on weekends to this vital safety system. Kudos to the aids! While no place is perfect, my Father's needs have been addressed along with St Croix hospice and my daily presence at Bickford. Staff had been helpful regarding questions of finances, care and honoring my Father's wishes. Yes, there are issues which staff and aids regularly on. I pray they continue. My daily involvement has made for a better outcome, but that would not be possible unless the Bickford people did not truly care. Happy New Year team!

The Bickford staff is absolutely amazing and responsive. Our loved one is well cared for and she is truly living her best life. I am so grateful for the dedicated team that provides the loving care for her as she needs it but also the space for her to be independent.

Your staff is outstanding! They went out of their way to accommodate our move in as management was out that day. They got special permission to let us move and the activities director checked us in. Very much appreciated. The day of the move, everyone was so attentive and helpful. Most places would have just ignored us. Also, mom seems to be more alert even you've had her for only one day. She was sitting around doing nothing where she came from. Now she is engaged in exercise and other wonderful activities to keep her mind busy and her body active. We are so very happy we made this move! Please tell your staff they are doing an outstanding job.
