The month of July was a very busy month for me and my family. But, the staff was aware of the situation and stepped up to the challenge and gave mom the love and care that she deserved every single day. For this we are truly grateful. I do not want to name each individual for fear of missing someone but you know who you are. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. I do have some concerns: 1) hydration is to occur in the afternoon. But, many times water is placed in a styrofoam cup with a straw. Mom does not care for water and many times the cup is just placed on her table and she is unable to understand what to do with it and unable to give herself a drink. I have discussed this several times in the past but it continues to happen. 2) the table that mom sits at usually does not have utensils. I have to ask for them Or go get them myself. The other 2 women that sit at the table do Not know to ask for them. 3) the carpet in the hallway by nurses station and down the hall is dirty and has multiple stains on it. It is embarrassing to see the way it is. Someone needs to shampoo the carpet. 4) garbage bags with soiled diapers and other items are left in the hallway outside of (name removed) room. Many times I go throw them away. 5) the dining room floors need to be swept and cleaned after each meal. Many times floors are sticky and food is on them.

Very happy our mom is there! Only feedback is wish staff could help with her TV and turning something on for her to watch a bit more. She is very happy there! Loves all the activities and the staff is so loving with her. Thank you so much!!

She is adjusting pretty well. She has made some friends and likes the activities. She would be a lot happier if someone could make sure a movie or a series is playing during down time. We often visit and the tv has been idle for a long time and she is just sitting in her apt. Again so far so good just want more frequent "start a movie" check ins.
