We enjoyed a fantastic Halloween party filled with adorable costumes, festive fun, and great company. It was wonderful to see so many friends and welcome new faces to the celebration! Residents had a great time decorating and loved seeing all the kids dressed up in their Halloween costumes. The smiles, laughter, and festive spirit made for a truly memorable day for everyone. What a wonderful week at Bickford! Our residents had a great time during their trip to Harvestville Farm. The apple cider and famous apple cider donuts were a huge hit with everyone, making for a delicious and memorable outing. We also gathered together to celebrate our nurse, Crystal, at a special goodbye party. We are grateful for all she has done and wish her the very best in her next chapter. A special thank you goes to Mary, who always takes such wonderful care of our flowers and gardens, keeping them beautiful for everyone to enjoy. We were also delighted to welcome Nicole from the Art Center, who stopped by with a fun and creative painting project that brought out many smiles and artistic talents. We had a wonderful time enjoying a variety of activities together! Residents enjoyed a crazy game of dominos, took a fun bus ride, and cooled off with delicious ice cream sundaes. Creativity was in full swing with crafts. We had awesome Family History Day! Conversations were had that brought back cherished memories, looking at pictures they brought in to share. Laughter and friendly competition filled the room during Family Bingo. To top it all off, The Silver Steppers provided fantastic entertainment that was enjoyed by everyone. We spent our days soaking up the beautiful weather on the front porch and in the courtyard, enjoying good conversation and time together. Residents had fun getting creative by making pumpkins in a variety of ways, challenging one another to games of Scrabble, and continuing to harvest fresh tomatoes from our garden. We also shared a sweet treat by making and enjoying chocolate-covered pretzels together. It was a wonderful week filled with laughter, creativity, friendship, and simple moments that made lasting memories.

We tried our hand at hydro dipping and enjoyed seeing everyone’s creativity shine. Later, we went for a drive to Geode and made an unexpected stop in a small town where one of our residents grew up, bringing back many fond memories and stories. We also enjoyed an engaging presentation by Russ Fry, helped one another during a lively game of bingo, and ended the day at the Players Workshop, where we were treated to a wonderfully performed play that was the perfect ending to a fun-filled evening. #BickfordofBurlington #Laughter #Montessori

Laughter and friendly competition filled the room as we played checkers, dominoes, and bingo. We were also delighted to harvest the radishes we nurtured and grew together. Another special highlight was enjoying a lovely Ladies' Tea Time filled with conversation and connection. This week, our residents stayed busy and had a wonderful time participating in a variety of activities. They enjoyed playing games, shopping at the Bickford Store with their hard-earned Bickford Bucks, and harvesting the carrots and radishes they planted Residents also had fun making a delicious snack mix to enjoy together. Another special activity involved placing their beautiful photos into frames that they could take home and keep as treasured memories. To top it all off, they created gorgeous centerpieces that added a lovely touch to their dining tables. One of the best parts of our days is spending time with friends. It's always nice to have a friend to walk around with, share conversations, and enjoy activities together.
