July is a month full of celebrations at Bickford of Bloomington!
This month, we are thrilled to honor an extraordinary milestone as our beloved resident, Randy, celebrates his 100th birthday! Reaching a century of life is a remarkable achievement, and we are so grateful to celebrate this special occasion with him. Randy's life, wisdom, and the joy he brings to our Bickford family inspire us all.
We're also celebrating five wonderful ladies with July birthdays, making this a truly festive month. Even more special, three of these amazing women share the very same birthday, giving us another reason to gather, laugh, and celebrate together.
At Bickford of Bloomington, every birthday is a reminder of the beautiful lives, treasured memories, and lasting friendships that make our community feel like home. Please join us in wishing Randy and all of our July birthday residents a very happy birthday! Here's to another year filled with love, laughter, good health, and many more cherished moments.

The hot weather called for cold walking Sunday's today at Bickford of Bloomington. Residents enjoyed deliciously sweet Sunday's with all the toppings delivered right to their rooms, while some stopped the cart as they were playing cards in the common area. #BickfordSeniorLiving #AssistedLiving #IndependentLiving #MemoryCare

Residents at Bickford of Bloomington went back in time to the 1950s, starting with patty melts and banana slips as one of the meal choices. After dinner residents were invited to a Bickford's Sok Hop! They were able to enjoy bite size pineapple upside down cake cups as 50s tunes played in the background. Some residents sat and enjoyed the decor while other got up and danced. Senior living after hours at its best. #IndependentLiving #AssistedLiving #MemoryCare #SeniorLiving

Bickford of Bloomington is a senior living community where a few of residents served in the military. So in honor of them and because we're still celebrating our nation 250th birthday, we decided to send cards to our troops still away from home. We are spending out cards for every occasion so no soldiers are left out. #BickfordofBloomington #IndependentLiving #AssistedLiving #memorycare

Today I want to highlight something special here at Bickford of Bloomington...... Friendship This is what lifelong friendship looks like. This is what being apart of Bickford of Bloomington's family looks like. Julius R. (Randy) and Scott J. have been friends for decades. As a matter of fact, Scott became apart of our community because of Randy. It brings a smile to my face to witness a tradition of them having coffee every morning still being had. As business men they enjoyed coffee together before starting there day, now as retired men they get to continue to do the same. #BickfordofBloomington #SeniorLiving #IndependentLiving #AssistedLiving #MemoryCare
