Fall Fun Is in Full Swing at Bickford of Bloomington! We’ve been keeping busy and making wonderful memories here at Bickford of Bloomington! So far this week, our residents have enjoyed getting creative with festive pumpkin crafts, putting their fall knowledge to the test with a lively game of Fall Pictionary in Assisted Living, and getting into the Halloween spirit by decorating spooky cupcakes! Our Memory Care residents joined in on the fun, too, with hand painting and exciting rounds of Bingo! There have been plenty of smiles, laughter, creativity, and friendly competition all around! From festive crafts and sweet treats to games that bring everyone together, there’s always something special happening at Bickford. We love seeing our residents stay engaged, express themselves, and make meaningful memories with friends and staff. A Fall Afternoon at Rader’s Family Farm! Our residents at Bickford of Bloomington enjoyed a wonderful afternoon visiting Rader’s Family Farm! We took in all the beautiful fall scenery, explored the pumpkin patch, and admired the gorgeous flower wall. There’s just something special about getting out into the community, enjoying the crisp fall atmosphere, sharing smiles, and making memories together. These little adventures remind us that some of the best moments are the ones we share with one another! A big thank-you to Rader’s Family Farm for giving us a beautiful place to enjoy the season. A wonderful Octoberfeast at Bickford of Bloomington! Our residents and staff had a fantastic time celebrating with a delicious German-inspired feast! We enjoyed soft pretzels with cheese, corn dogs, bratwurst, sauerkraut, and of course, some sweet treats to finish things off! For dessert, we enjoyed apple strudel and adorable mini German chocolate cupcakes. And we couldn't forget the Apfelschorle —a delicious German apple beverage that was a big hit! We also had lemonade, root beer, and plenty of other choices for everyone to enjoy. There was great food, lots of smiles, and wonderful fellowship all around. We sure know how to celebrate at Bickford!
