Working on a Christmas jigsaw puzzle seemed like a great thing to do on this snowy morning.

One of the best parts of Christmas at Bickford is for our staff to see the new Bickford staff sweatshirts. This one is amazing!

Fun with Fox is where our in house rehab company comes and talks about a different topic each month, this month was communicating more effectively with older adults. They gave us 9 tips to improve communication, we can use these skills at Bickford of Midland and out in our community of Midland. Thank you Fox

Midland Santa House did not disappoint. The ooh's and ah's were heard when the residents glanced at every corner in the house. We all sat on Santa's lap and were asked what was on our Christmas list this year, boy is he going to be busy.

Our once a year concert with the Just Trombones. For the last five years at Christmas time they come and share their talents, interact with a background of the music and a question and answer time in between songs. Our Bickford friend of the family John was grinning ear to ear. Merry Christmas!

#NationalSno-coneday #NationalMapleSyrupday We celebrated two national days today, maple syrup and sno-cones all wrapped into one. None of our residents have had this treat before. We also learned that sno-cones were invented in 1919, and now an average sno-cone cost $3.00.

The girl scouts came to sing Christmas carols and make a Christmas craft with our residents, they are so cute, you can see them on door by the laundry room.

Hot cocoa, Yum. We are gathered around the fireplace and enjoyed this delicious treat, we also talked about some our most memorable Christmas presents we have received, a doll, an orange were some of the items had.

Christmas art is always a little more meaningful, Sandy is painting a truck, she plans on giving this to her grandson that will be visiting soon.
