One of our favorite ways to show our self expression is through painting. We like to use watercolor paints, play some music in the background, and chit chat. On Tuesday, the halls of Bickford were filled with song and the sounds of fellowship. We enjoyed a service with Chaplain Cindy about letting go of the past and embracing the new year. We even had Delilah come pay us a visit in the middle of the service!

We rang in the New Year in true Bickford style! We had a count down, balloon drop, and a champagne toast to 2026. Thank you for all the memories, 2025!

If you see somebody bat a balloon into the air, you instantly feel young at heart. I had to inflate 60+ balloons this morning for our "Noon Year's Eve" party tomorrow, and the residents got in on the fun! I would inflate one, and we'd put it to the test by seeing how long we could keep it in the air. Once it fell to the ground, I would inflate a new balloon. This continued for 60 balloons! And that's a wrap on December's dining club! Thanks Meskwaki Buffet for hosting us. I think the top hits were the lemon meringue pie and oreo fluff pie. Delicious! Next month's dining club is Pizza Ranch!
