Her vibrant energy is matched only by her fierce independence, a quality we admire deeply. Recently, Linda experienced a profound loss with the passing of her beloved soulmate. Navigating such a tender, difficult chapter is never easy, but true to form, Linda’s resilient spirit has kept her moving forward. During this rough patch, our entire Bickford family has rallied around Linda with an outpouring of love and support. It has been a privilege to walk alongside her, offering comfort when needed and reminding her that she is never alone. Bocce Ball, I Love Lucy (the grape stomping episode) Italian Soda & Biscotti, tasty Italian lunch and then some good ole fashioned GRAPE STOMPING!!!! It was so hot out, but that didn't matter. We even had the hair stylist and the daughter of a Resident come and enjoy this Italian tradition with us. Baking Day with Deb is always a hit with the Residents. Today we made the birthday cake for Denise, one of our BFMs. The Residents took turns cracking the eggs, pouring the milk and the sugar. Happy happy Monday!!! You know what they say about Mondays, right??? Well, we proved them all wrong!! What a wonderfully phenomenal day! Residents were all in great moods and staff too!! Today was Men's Club, Birdhouse day. They are small decorative birdhouses, that go together in a few easy steps (yea, ok, lol) and then we paint them! It was so much fun to sit with this Resident today, and just shoot the breeze!
