We celebrated Western Day in a big way at Bickford of Lancaster Assisted Living and Memory Care! Our morning kicked off with some lively horse roping, and then we got crafty decorating our own cowboy hats. Residents dressed the part with hats, boots, and bandanas, turning the whole building into a mini Wild West. We even hung wanted posters featuring each resident and their cowboy nickname — and yes, a few outlaws were caught and thrown in “jail” during our Western party! The fun kept going with a finish‑the‑western‑phrase game and horse races, plus tasty cowboy caviar and a refreshing sweet tea smash to top it all off.
