In celebration of Armed Forces Day, a day we salute the men and women currently serving to protect us and our country with honoring all branches of our military: the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force and Coast Guard. During our Patriotic Social, we spent the afternoon sharing military stories, testing our knowledge of each military branch, enjoying our themed snack and concluding with Sing-Along's to “The Army Song”, “Anchors Aweigh”, “The Marines’ Hymn”, “The U.S. Air Force” and “Semper Paratus”. #ArmedForcesDay

We took a little road trip today.We went to the Ice Cream Parlor in Le Mars! Everyone picked out a favorite sweet treat! It was very satisfying!

It's such a clean facility and everyone is so friendly when you walk around someone is always asking if you need something. I feel very comfortable having my father there as a resident. It takes very special people to care for our elderly. I know it can be a tough job!

Mom is becoming so comfortable living there. She chose to stay in for Easter rather than take the opportunity to come to my house or go out to Mass. That is heartwarming to know after the anxiety we had convincing her to move. It's a relief, so we can now concentrate on enjoying her remaining time with us,rather than struggling with the decision to move.

The staff is outstanding. (name removed) and (name removed) are fabulous and all that they do is very much appreciate. Security and safety of the residence has greatly improve to ensure residents safety. Whenever I call with any question or concern it is immediately taken care of. There are several gals that work with my dad daily that need to be acknowledge. I will get their names to point them out in next months feedback.
