Here at Bickford Assisted Living and Memory Care, one of our residents’ favorite activities is taste testing! Today, we had a sweet (and sometimes sour) time sampling a variety of Peeps flavors—from cotton candy and tropical fruit to sour watermelon and even Dr Pepper! Our Assisted Living residents voted Dr Pepper as their top pick, while sour watermelon didn’t quite hit the mark. Interestingly, in our Memory Care neighborhood, it was the complete opposite—sour watermelon was the clear favorite! It’s always fun seeing everyone’s reactions and hearing their opinions. We love creating these small moments of joy and connection!

This morning began with church, lifting our hearts in worship, followed by exercise with Francisco. Here at Bickford Assisted Living and Memory Care our residents get the best of both. Today is Taste Test Tuesday, and we sampled fresh guava a tropical fruit. This sweet, tangy gem is packed with fiber and vitamin C, making it a healthy choice. Some of us loved it, while others weren’t as fond. The texture was soft, and the inside was filled with seeds, but the whole fruit was edible. It was an interesting experience for all involved!

Manicure Monday brings joy as ladies indulge in some well-deserved pampering, choosing soft pastel colors to match the upcoming Easter spirit. These serene shades—lavender, pink and peach—add a touch of freshness and elegance to the start of the week, celebrating the season of renewal and beauty.

Friday Fun Day was a burst of creativity! Mary B. led the way, bringing colors together in a brilliant way. As we interact with each hue, blending and experimenting, watching how each color interacted with the next. The result was a beautiful and vibrant work of art!

We had a much-needed therapy session with our wonderful friend Tucker. It was a beautiful afternoon spent catching up and enjoying each other's company, full of meaningful conversation and warmth. Such a refreshing and uplifting visit.
