Are you ready for some football???!!!!!!! So, today at Bickford of Marshalltown, the oh so kind and caring Mr. Dean came with all of his jewelry making supplies, and todays theme was football! Our Residents chose to make Hawkeye and Iowa State football bracelets, and oh my did they turn out amazing!!! So amazing, they they took them and put them away for safe keeping!!! Gotta love 'em!!! While visiting our community to celebrate a friend’s birthday, she experienced firsthand the warmth, care, and vibrant atmosphere that defines Higher Path living. At the time, Betty was living in a much larger assisted living community in Waterloo. Not only did the massive size feel less personal, but the long drive made it difficult for her daughter to visit as often as she wanted. Moving Betty to Marshalltown brought this family closer together—and we gained an absolute superstar. Betty is a true go-getter. As a former loan officer, she used to hobnob with the very best, and she brings that same confidence and class to Bickford every day. She is our resident fashion diva, always dressed to the nines, and she even taught her husband how to dance back in the day. But what we love most about Betty is her incredible spirit.
