This summer, one of our wonderful residents is excited to attend her grandson’s baseball games—and she created a special sign to cheer him on, in partnership with FOX Rehabilitation! This activity served as a meaningful and purposeful therapeutic intervention. With guidance from FOX, she worked on visual skills, coordination skills, standing balance, as well as planning and calendar management to get ready for all the upcoming game days. Bible Study is held every Wednesday at 10:00 AM, providing residents with a dedicated time for reflection, scripture reading, and meaningful conversation in a supportive group setting. This weekly gathering encourages connection not only to faith, but also to one another. In addition, a Church Service is offered on the second Wednesday of each month, creating a special midweek opportunity for worship and fellowship within our community. Residents also have access to Sunday Church Services, helping maintain familiar routines and traditions that are often deeply meaningful. Through these regular services and ongoing spiritual care, we strive to meet each resident where they are in their faith journey—offering comfort, encouragement, and a continued sense of belonging.

May the 4th Be With You! Today our residents celebrated Star Wars Day with a special screening of Star Wars: A New Hope. It was the highlight of the day as everyone gathered to enjoy the classic film together, complete with popcorn and a relaxed afternoon spent revisiting a well-loved story. In addition to the movie, Memory Care residents participated in a couple of themed activities. We had Stormtrooper Target Practice, where residents enjoyed tossing bean bags at themed targets, and Galactic Bowling, which added a fun, space-inspired twist to a familiar favorite. Both activities were simple, engaging, and well received. Overall, it was a nice balance of entertainment and light activity centered around the theme, with the movie screening being the main event.
