It’s a double birthday day! One celebration is happening out on a family lunch date, and we’re honored to celebrate Jake turning 95 right here at Bickford of Greenwood Assisted Living and Montessori Memory Care!!

Our destination for our outing was Knuckle Sandwich best way to bring back the 50s and 60s vibe enjoying each other's company here at Bickford of Greenwood!! Also our BFFs were given choices, the chance to chat with peers, and the opportunity to connect across generations through conversation, smiles, and shared joy. From deciding their favorite cookie to engaging in meaningful social moments, every interaction honored independence, dignity, connection!

Hanger Toss fun and Groundhog Day learning all in one meaningful moment! Our BFFs took on real roles today helping set up Hanger Toss by passing out hangers to each peer, organizing clothing pins, and cheering one another on. Teamwork in action! We also celebrated Groundhog Day by matching shadows, sparking curiosity, conversation, and plenty of smiles. Creating a sandwich by recipe bringing stories to life when their kids were young making there sack lunch for school. Busy hands, purposeful work, and learning through doing just the way we love it.
