A Moment of Purpose, Teamwork & Celebration here at Bickford of Greenwood Assisted Living and Montessori Memory Care! Our Celebration Committee came together for a hands on project preparing special gift bags. But before the bags could be filled, there was a whole team effort that had to happen first. Each person had an important role in the process. One person worked on screwing the tops onto the essential oil diffusers, another helped plug the opening, and then the diffuser was passed to the neighbor on the right. From there, each person added another item to the bag before passing it along again. Everyone had a part, and every part mattered. This was more than simply putting together gift bags. It was an opportunity to practice coordination, sequencing, communication, purposeful movement, and working together toward a shared goal. One person. One role. One step at a time. One completed gift bag created together. These are the moments that remind us that meaningful engagement doesn't have to be complicated it can be found in the simple, purposeful things we do together.
