Our Bickford Family Friends enjoyed a wonderful outing to Knuckle Sandwich for a delicious lunch, followed coolimg off on the patio through the Rainbow Car Wash! Some of our Bickford Family Friends loved listening to the sounds of the water as our maintenance director, Montessori Enngagement Coordinator, and home care wash take the lead on getting wet, while others smiled and laughed as they watched everyone else's reactions. It's amazing how simple outings can create joyful moments, and build lasting memories together. Purposeful Living Another wonderful week is filled with purpose, connection, and joy! Our Helping Hands worked together by wiping down tables, sweeping floors, and putting away bingo cards. These meaningful roles encourage independence, build confidence, and remind everyone that every helping hand makes a difference. We also enjoyed a special outing to Light Church in Bargersville, where we shared a delicious lunch, attended the church service, and spent meaningful time together in fellowship. Back at the Bickford Bistro, laughter filled the room as our youth initiative gift and grow group joined us with game boards, followed by a creative crafting session that brought generations together through conversation and smiles. Our Walking Club took advantage of the beautiful weather with a stroll around the patio, enjoying fresh air and great company. To wrap up the fun, residents gathered for a friendly game of cornhole. Mary B’s and Assisted Living came together for water paint in the dining room together, sharing stories and few smiles with special visits from friends! Our BFFs enjoyed matchung scented jars alongside our wonderful volunteer, Harmony, who encouraged them to read the directions and lead each step with confidence. We also gathered for a resident led Bible study, where faith, fellowship, and meaningful conversation brought smiles to everyone. Happy 4th of July from Bickford of Greenwood Montessori Memory Care! Our BFFs celebrated Independence Day with smiles, laughter, and patriotic fun! We enjoyed festive poppers, sparklers, creative crafts, and music therapy that had everyone singing along and celebrating together. A special thank you to our amazing Bread Basket chefs for preparing a delicious holiday meal that brought everyone around the table to enjoy great food and even better company.
