It was our honor to recognize Keith J. as our Veteran of the Month for November. He served in the United States Marine Corp. during WWII from 1943 to 1946. He was stationed in Hawaii and then went to Okinawa. His daughter Becky joined us for the ceremony. Thank you, Keith, for your brave and loyal service to our country. We also took the time to recognize all Veterans, in honor of Veteran’s Day. Thank you to American Legion Post 113 for joining us for this special ceremony. Mom is taken care of very well at Bickford Virginia Beach. The staff is kind and caring.

Overall, we've been pleased with our mom's recent care including encouraging her to eat meals in the dining room most days. It would be even better if she could be strongly encouraged to participate in at least 1 activity per day as she continues to be quite isolated in her room most of the time.
